Welcome to My Blog
I believe in the transformative power of running. This blog explores how running can boost mental health, providing you with the motivation and inspiration you need to keep moving forward. The intention is to empower a healthy, mindful lifestyle, and find a Mind-Body balance through running.
My Running Journey
From a random hobby to an epic life-changing journey, running became more than just exercise—it transformed into a lifestyle. Each step became a metaphor for life, pushing me to grow and overcome challenges. I found my tribe in a local Running Club. Not only did I find some awesome new friends, but they also inspired me to take my running to the next level—races!
Okay, so, I was not a track star. I’d never run before (only a treadmill jog). But bored of the gym, I took a wild leap and signed up for a 2-mile race, and crossing the finish line ignited a passion for pushing my limits. Regular pavement pounding led to my first half marathon just 5 months later. I was almost 40 years old when I started running —It’s never too late to do something new. I’m running proof!
Fast forward to May 2024, I’ve completed 12 marathons, 2 50-miler, one 50K, and a bunch of half marathons, 10Ks, and 5Ks—each step marked by personal growth. And you know what? I haven’t stopped running since. Now 53 years old, I’m proud to call myself a runner! And because I felt this need to give back to my running community, fueled by their amazing stories and my love for art and running, I created ‘Run. Write. Repeat.’ Your Running Journal. Now I’m embracing this blog, all for the love or funning!

About the Intentional Miles
Every time we take a step towards something meaningful, it all starts with a simple intention. Whether it’s a big personal achievement or a small daily action, having that clear intention sets the stage for everything that follows.
Think about running for a moment. We often set big goals, like nailing that Boston Qualifier time in our next marathon. But here’s where we trip up: we get so fixated on the end goal that we forget about all the little steps and mini-goals along the way. It’s those baby steps that keep us grounded and connected to our intention.
So, next time you’re gearing up for a big run (or any big goal, really), remember to appreciate the journey. Celebrate those small victories and stay connected to your intention every step of the way. It’s not just about crossing the finish line; it’s about enjoying every moment that gets you there.
Keep running!
